For the “Hysterical Mining Artists’ Presentations” the discursive space at Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz will act as a platform to make visible practices that combine interests in feminism and technology. A number of invited artists, as well as some of the artists participating in the exhibition Hysterical Mining, will present their work, research, ideas and inspirations.
Veronika Schubert (b. Bregenz) creates animation films and films. She works on language, its structure and its normative dimension through analysing, deconstructing and then re-coding and re-contextualising it in sound/image editing processes. This results in new and often very humorous stories. She studied Experimental Visual Design at the University of Art and Design Linz, and New Media at the HGKZ, Zürich University of the Arts.
