VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is Austria’s largest curated design festival and has been taking place in Vienna since 2007. Recently it welcomed over 40,000 visitors to around 200 events.
Year after year, the festival proves that Vienna is a “City Full of Design.” The multifaceted output that is the mark of quality of the Austrian scene takes center stage: product, furniture, and industrial design, architecture, graphic design and social design, as well as experimental and digital positions. The festival successfully works towards connecting this local potential internationally. Tried and tested festival formats meet current focal points, essential contributions are made by many program partners.
In 2019, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK will take place from 27 September – 6 October. The guest country will be Finland.
