Workshop with İpek Hamzaoğlu & Malu Blume
Gossipology: Storytelling for the Apocalypse

ipek Hamzaoglu & Malu Blume, Gossipology, 2019, Courtesy die Künstlerinnen

A workshop on feminist science fiction storytelling! The workshop will focus on utopian/dystopian storytelling that echoes site-specific local myths, gossip and histories. Through the use of directed writing exercises they envision merging individual imagination into collective mythologies that reflect experiences of resistance and survival. Furthermore, they will explore the use of emancipatory narratives as a tool of political action from the margins and delve into the transformative potentials of collective dreaming of our past(s) and possible futures. (In English)
